Help SciWorks undergo a transformation by adopting a Monarch butterfly! For $25 each, you can adopt one (or more) for yourself, a friend, a relative, or in honor of a special group or occasion. Then, on Sunday, September 22, you will join other adopters at SciWorks to release your special butterfly so that it can begin its migration to Mexico.
Your butterfly will be tagged with a unique number from Monarch Watch and you will receive an adoption certificate listing the tag number of the monarch you adopt. If your butterfly is recovered in Mexico or at some spot along the way, you’ll receive information about your special butterfly’s journey!
For more information about adopting a Monarch butterfly, please contact Ally McCauley at SciWorks at (336) 714-7109 or amccauley@sciworks.org.
